“Ticking away the moments that make up a dull day
Fritter and waste the hours in an off-hand way
Kicking around on a piece of ground in your home town
Waiting for someone or something to show you the way
Tired of lying in the sunshine, staying home to watch the rain
You are young and life is long and there is time to kill today
Then one day you find ten years has got behind you
No-one told you when to run, you missed the starting gun”
If you’re old enough (like me) you’ll probably recognise those lyrics from the Pink Floyd classic ‘Time’…
Either way, the point is that time and life is ‘ticking away’ and passes all to quickly, and unless you take control and do something with it, you risk looking back with regret on what might have been.
So, here is a really useful resource that you can download to help you examine your current life and see how to make real and lasting improvement to all aspects of your life; ‘The Improving Your Life Roadmap’:
Firstly, the ‘LifeTracker Assessment’ helps you analyse your current situation and identify where you need to improve.
Once you have completed the Lifetracker Assessment and used it to generate your ‘wheel of life’, there are ten further modules to kick-start the improvement process.
….and now the rest of those lyrics….
“And you run and you run to catch up with the sun
but its sinking, racing around to come up behind you again
The sun is the same in a relative way, but you’re older,
shorter of breath, and one day closer to death
Every year is getting shorter, never seem to find the time
Plans that either come to naught, or half a page of scribbled lines
Hanging on in quiet desperation is the English way
The time is gone, the song is over
Thought I’d something more to say”
Have a productive day!
